This headset arrived in good working order and appears to be reasonably well built. The ANR function works for the lower frequencies which is nice. It's not world beating ANR, but it does work and is very welcome in my Ran's S-12 with Rotax 912. My transmissions are reported clear and slightly weak (may be due to radio or intercom). Comfortable and fairly light. Microphone stays put. Having a 3rd plug for the ANR and a separate ANR box is a bit of a drag, but once setup and in place seems to be fine. I could not get the "auto" ANR function to work but it's fine in "ON". Only downside is that if I forget to turn it back to Auto I will lose a 9v battery. So far so good.

Too early to tell how they will hold up, but headsets are comfortable and have good noise reduction features. I like the 9 Volt battery as they seem to last longer than the two AAs in my LightSpeed Zulus. Time will tell how they hold up, but so far, very satisfied with very good headsets at 1/3 the price of brand names.

Purchased mainly due to reasonable price. Only used couple of times so far on short one and half hour duration flights, but it's been comfortable and good noise reduction, also been informed transmissions loud and clear. Wiring on a 20-yr old ANR headset finally gave out and this one seems to be a good replacement.

One month using in 8-10 flights, I am very glad to have this headset. My original trainer set was decent, but did not have ANR. This new feature makes a world of difference!
I am closing in on my Instrument check ride and wanted the assurance that I could clearly hear and reliably communicate with ATC so they could hear me. This headset delivers at a VERY reasonable price. Where formerly I might have calls prompting controllers to call, “say again, read-back coming in weak,” I have not had that happen in the past month. My in-cockpit communication is crisper, as well.
Two down-side “cons” worth noting: 1) uses a 9-volt battery (had to buy a package, none on hand in my house); and 2) the toggle switch for “On/Auto” is an old school style lever switch. I guess if the life is long (advertised at ~25 hrs) then the 9v is okay, and if the lever switch is reliable and doesn’t inadvertently switch to “on” in my flight bag then we’re okay.
Overall, I can’t believe the improvement in hearing and speaking that this headset provides. Features are great, aside from the couple of design “cons” noted above, and I highly recommend to pilots looking to move up in the headset market but NOT spend $500-$1100 doing it.
