Very good student pilot headset
Even though this headphone does not have active noise cancellation, I found it very comfortable and adequate for flying a Cessna 172 as a student pilot. I can hear the instructor, the engine, the stall horn, and also not miss out on details like buffeting during stalls. If you are a student pilot trying to save money for lessons and other things, I suggest getting this headphone and waiting till you are proficient in the airplane before getting a fancier headphone.
And I really liked Pilot Mall's execution of this order, especially after a less than ideal experience with another seller that sent me a headset with a malfunctioning microphone.

Great for beginner students like myself
As a student pilot I found that these headsets are a good option for the quality and price. The sound is good I could hear very well and noise reduction is okay. It is a little tight over the head but fits comfortably over the ears. Overall, from what I have read and experienced I would recommend it for someone who is looking for good quality headsets that will last a while and have good sound quality.
