Frequently Asked Questions

Are the items on the sale page new or refurbished?

Every item on the Pilot Mall sale page is brand new, current-production gear. Nothing here is refurbished, used, or open-box. You receive the same product, packaging, and manufacturer warranty you would get at full price, simply marked down or carrying a factory rebate for a limited time.

Are these aviation sale items closeouts or factory seconds?

No. These are not closeouts, factory seconds, or blemished stock. They are genuine current-production products that have been reduced for a limited time or are backed by a manufacturer rebate. The gear is complete and fully warrantied, identical to what we sell at the regular price.

How often do the deals on this page change?

Often. This sale page is built from live markdowns and manufacturer rebates, so the lineup rotates regularly as inventory and promotions change. Items can sell through quickly, and new deals appear without notice, which is why it pays to check back before a major purchase and to buy when you see the product you want.

Is it worth waiting for a sale to buy a pilot headset?

Premium headset brands rarely discount current flagship models because of minimum advertised pricing, so a markdown or factory rebate is genuinely notable. If you can be flexible, watching for a rebate can save money. If you need a headset now for training or a checkride, buying at full price is reasonable.

Do I still get free shipping on sale items?

Yes. Sale items ship under the same policy as everything else we sell. Free U.S. shipping over $100 applies whether the order is full-price gear or pilot gear on sale. The sale price does not change your shipping benefit.

Are sale headsets and avionics still covered by the manufacturer warranty?

Yes. Because Pilot Mall is an authorized dealer and every sale item is new, genuine inventory, your headset or avionics purchase carries the full manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase, exactly the same coverage you would receive buying the product at its regular price.
