It’s made from heavy-duty materials while managing to retain a sophisticated appearance. The front pocket is for your headset. The main compartment is large and spacious. And several other pockets make it easy to store and also easy to find items such as your flashlight, fuel tester, kneeboard, chart or iPad.
For a bag as professional as you are, look no further than the ASA Pilot Bag.
Although, this item is well made, fairly priced and satisfactory for my needs, it lacks in features that might be required by some. Back pocket works well for iPad Mini. Main compartment works very well for headset plus a standard iPad, front compartment is a large, unorganized "catch all" for miscellaneous items like small headset, car keys, ear plugs or a flashlight but is not ideal for unprotected items such as sunglasses or a passport. Side pockets aren't sized or designed to be useful for much except maybe a small LED flashlight. Extra pens or highlighters are not held securely in place. There is no padded protection, no pockets provided for letter envelope sized items and no internal closable pockets for secure storage of things like passport, wallet or certificates.
Great bag!!! I use it everyday while flying the CRJ 900. It fits nicely in the storage compartment in the flight deck. I store my IPad, David Clark 20-10 headset, spare battery, and charger. In the zip compartment I use it to hold extra weight and balance forms and told cards. It’s a nice bag and at a very good price. I’m proud of my bag and I show it off to my first officers who ask about it. I still have room left for anything I need. The bag is just the right size. Love the shoulder straps, I use the straps to hold my bag off the ground while attached to my roller board luggage handles. Great bag and highly recommended.
