Military aviators who also operate civilian airplanes will love this headset converter from Pilot USA. Rather than spending hundreds of dollars on a dedicated GA airplane headset, this custom-designed adapter enables you to convert your low impedance dynamic military mic to the high impedance mic characteristic of civilian aircraft. Simply plug your military headset's single U-174/U jack into the converter and connect the unit's standard .25"(PJ-055) and .206 (PJ-068) headset jacks to the appropriate cockpit ports and you're good to go. When you're ready to return to the military cockpit, just unplug the adapter and your headset is once again ready for action. A proven, money-saving solution for military pilots who occasionally operate civilian planes.
- splitter cable
- David Clarks
It definitely works, but there was an on and off clicking sound during transmission on my David Clarks. I think it would have been easier to swap out the mic and buy a simple splitter cable. I have yet to try it on my Bose headset.
Thank you for shipping it immediately.
