With this affordable, custom-designed conversion kit, military users of the venerable David Clark H10-76 headset can now easily adapt their trusty headset for use in civilian general aviation (GA) cockpits. This kit includes a high-impedance, noise-cancelling electret microphone to replace the low-impedance dynamic mic that's standard on the H10-76. It also features an adapter that converts the headset's single U-174/U military plug to the standard twin plugs (PJ-068 and PJ-055) characteristic of civilian cockpits. An excellent accessory to get the most out of your H10-76 in a variety of flight environments.

I'm a prior Air Force C130J loadmaster that has decided to take flight lessons. I have an issued David Clark headset that I wanted to reuse for my flight lessons. I bought this kit and completed the conversion (simple enough just make sure you have a tiny screwdriver to replace the microphone.)
My first lesson went fine with no audio/mic issues-It sounded good too! So , so far so good. No complaints at the moment.

Install is very simple. It works great in a Cessna 172. Have not used in another aircraft as of yet.

I’m very happy with the product. It was easy to swap onto my headset and the price is much less than buying an all new headset. I have the David Clark’s from my years as a military aircraft maintainer and didn’t want to throw away a perfectly good headset. This adapter was exactly what I was looking for.
