N-3B Snorkel Parka

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail will penetrate the phenomenal layer of protection provided by the N-3B Snorkel Parka. This extraordinarily rugged men's winter coat was developed from the USAF's N-3B "snorkel" parka - which was itself designed for temps as low as -60F (-51C). With this updated version, we're bringing to market all of the survival-enhancing traits of the traditional article - along with a number of stylish upgrades that make the parka as attractive as it is essential.

Among the N-3B's cold-combating characteristics are its 100% nylon shell and polyester lining, which together wick away wintry precipitation. The jacket also features a full-length zipper with a button-and-loop storm flap that work to keep cold air out and body heat it. Furthermore, the snorkel hood and waist both boast drawstring adjustment, and its sleeve cuffs are also adjustable. In terms of cargo space, the coat has a pair of exterior snap-shut welt chest pockets; dual zippered & snap external pockets; a snap-close internal pocket; and a zippered utility/pen/pencil pocket on the left sleeve.
