The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star Large Mahogany Model by High Flying Models is a museum-quality replica of the most successful and widely used jet trainer in aviation history. Affectionately known by generations of military pilots as the "T-Bird," the T-33 was developed by stretching Lockheed's pioneering P-80 Shooting Star fighter to accommodate an instructor's tandem cockpit. Serving as the primary gateway to jet aviation for the United States Air Force and countless global allies from the late 1940s onward, this aircraft shaped the dawn of the Jet Age.

This desktop replica perfectly honors the elegant, straight-wing design of Kelly Johnson’s legendary engineering masterpiece. Every classic line, from the side-mounted engine intakes to the smooth canopy contour, is hand-carved and detailed entirely by master craftsmen. Finished in a premium protective gloss that mirrors the iconic bare-metal look of early post-WWII military aircraft, this 15-inch long model stands 9.5 inches tall on its base, creating a timeless focal point for any corporate office, study, or military collection.
