Description
More than 5,000 F-4 Phantom II fighter jets served the U.S. Air Force, Marines and Navy beginning in 1961. With a top speed of more than twice the speed of sound, the F4 held more than 16 speed records. It saw combat in both Vietnam and Desert Storm and is the only aircraft ever used by both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds.
There is perhaps no other fighter jet worth commemorating from the last half of the 20th century more than the F-4. Help give it the credit it deserves with this handsome T-shirt by Aeroplane Apparel Company.
