The Legend Begins Limited Edition Sam Lyons Print

While anyone familiar with aviation artist Sam Lyons' work is well aware of his infatuation with the venerable Piper J-3 Cub, in The Legend Begins, Sam instead opts to illustrate a Cub of a different design: that produced by American Legend Aircraft Company. This 16" x 22" image depicts a brand-new Legend Cup climbing skyward shortly after departure from Woodstock, Georgia's 2200-ft grass airstrip. The one-of-a-kind degree of amazingly authentic realism is characteristic of all of Lyons' work, though this image features an extra element of authenticity - that's Sam at the Cub's controls! Per customer request, the drawing stars Sam himself providing flight instruction to the client's son.
