The Memphis Belle, a Boeing B-17F was delivered to the USAAF in September 1942. After surviving 25 bombing missions over Europe in WWII, the Memphis Belle was recalled to tour the U.S. in support of the War Bond drive. The aircraft has been restored to museum show quality and is now on display and the US Air Force Museum.
This exquisitely detailed 1:155 scale model is 5.75 inches long with a wingspan of 8 inches.
I bought this for my Grandson as his second favorite aircraft is the B-17.The detail is amazing, and he proudly displays this on his shelf for special things. Neither of us could be more pleased.
