Though incredibly small, this 6" x 3½", brushed aluminum flight computer can perform all the standard aviation performance functions of a larger E6B - and more. A popular item with military aviators, this flight computer features a high-speed compressibility table, high-speed and low-speed wind correction/computation slide, and a standard "whiz wheel" for calculating true airspeed, density altitude, fuel burn, time/speed/distance values, and much more. Can also be used to convert between numerous units of measurement. Comes in a sturdy vinyl case and includes an instruction manual. A durable, affordable aviation staple that no pilot should fly without.
Great little tool that lasts forever
buy and keep forever...
Bought this exact micro E6B back in 1981, sits in my flight bag ever since and I still use it occasionally, what a great tool. Imagine how often batteries and LCD screens would have died in that timeframe, plus punching numbers into a calculator does not teach you the fundamentals behind it... Buy it while they make them, eventually these E6Bs will go the same path as Jeppesen VFR paper charts...
It is a great computer to have for the use in an LSA but my only problem is the cost. It would make more sense for it to be sold around $10 or $12. Other than that, it's a really great buy.We offer the ASA E6B Paper Flight Computer for less than $10.00 which is a good substitute.
