When your flight ops find you in the Southwestern portion of The Lone Star State, make sure you're equipped with the latest version of the FAA's South Central V3 Bound IFR Terminal Procedures publication. With its complete collection of all instrument approach plates; departure (DPs/SIDs) & arrival (STARs) charts; airport/taxiway diagrams; and charted visual flight procedures (CVFPs) for all of Southwest Texas, this 5 3/8" x 8 1/4" bound volume brings you an abundance of aeronautical options not available to VFR-only aviators. Like all other FAA Terminal Procedures Publications, the South Central V3 Bound volume is published on the FAA's standard 56-day cycle. Available either as an ongoing subscription or as a one-time purchase, this cost-effective, all-in-one compilation of valuable IFR info will help keep you safe, aware, and flexible from Midland to San Antonio to Brownsville and all points in between.
I like the approach plates book. All the airports and runways appeared right where the book said they were. They got the com frequencies right as well!
