The COBI Top Gun: Maverick F/A-18E Super Hornet is back in an all-new edition, the fighter Maverick flies in the film, rebuilt with 651 pieces and a sharper silhouette in 1:48 scale.

This officially licensed set was redesigned from the ground up, with new parts for the Super Hornet's shape, new underwing stores and printed markings that match the movie aircraft.

Fly It Off the Shelf

Shopping for the Top Gun fan who has watched the movie a dozen times? The finished jet is about 15 inches long with an 11-inch wingspan, and it mounts on a display stand in a climbing pose, with a nameplate carrying the aircraft name and the Top Gun: Maverick logo. The wingtips fold like the real carrier jet, the canopy opens, the ailerons move and the landing gear comes off for an in-flight display. A pilot figure inspired by Maverick fits in the cockpit.

A Favorite With Our Customers

The earlier version of this set was the most popular COBI kit we have ever carried, and this edition improves on it in every detail. It sits well beside the Top Gun F-14 Tomcat and other 1:48 COBI jets. Ages 9 and up, made in the European Union.
