The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is an American long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber, operated by the United States Air Force. It was first flown in 1952, and following many upgrades, continues to fly today—having been in operation for more than 65 years. Built by Boeing, the B-52 has an operations speed of 600 mph and has a typical combat range of more than 8,800 miles without aerial refueling. This diecast model is supported on a plastic stand.
