Levando a tela retroiluminada do transceptor a um nível totalmente novo, o FTA-550L da Yaesu apresenta um impressionante display LCD de matriz de pontos completo de 1,7" x 1,7" com um sistema de menu fácil de usar e baseado em ícones. O brilho da luz de fundo é totalmente ajustável para acomodar praticamente qualquer condição de iluminação, e toda a unidade possui uma classificação de proteção contra água IPX5 para operação confiável em todos os ambientes. Também impressionantes são as capacidades de navegação VOR do -550L. Quando a unidade capta um sinal VOR, o display vai automaticamente para a tela NAV e exibe um CDI para o sinal. O transceptor também suporta navegação por localizador ILS e recebe canais meteorológicos e alertas NOAA. Além disso, o transceptor pode armazenar até 200 canais de memória com 15 designações de caracteres alfanuméricos. Yaesu FTA-550L
This is just what I needed for my plane. No need to carry extra batteries, squelch works great, and I can actually hear other pilots. This replaces my radio that broke soon after I bought it and had so much static that I couldn't hear anything. I look forward to not fighting with the radio anymore!
