Great shipping speed - I like the radio but be careful with bluetooth; my Bose will not paur with it. Otherwise a nice unit.

I ordered this one because I liked the colored screen instead of the non-colored one. From my house at ground level 5 miles away, it will pick up the approach frequency from arriving planes overhead and the tower’s communication. It will not pick up ATIS. I have not tested the distances while in the air.

Overall, a solid and well constructed unit
Pluses: Solid-as-a-rock unit; comes with a complement of useful attachments, optional power from AA batteries to Li Ion.
Minuses: Logic of operation such as inputting and saving frequencies seems to deviate from the normal, so ya gotta read the manual. It took me a half a day before I got comfortable with navigating the menus. Oh well, maybe I’m getting old …
