Um Suplemento Gráfico da FAA (anteriormente chamado de AFDs do Diretório de Aeroportos/Instalações) é uma lista de dados registrados na FAA sobre todos os aeroportos abertos ao público, bases de hidroaviões, heliportos, instalações militares e aeroportos de uso privado selecionados especificamente solicitados pelo Departamento de Defesa (DOD) para o qual um procedimento de aproximação por instrumentos do DOD foi publicado na Publicação de Procedimentos de Terminal dos EUA, esboços de aeroportos, NAVAIDs, dados de comunicações, fontes de dados meteorológicos, espaço aéreo, avisos especiais, pontos de referência VFR, diagramas de aeroportos e procedimentos operacionais. Sete volumes cobrem os Estados Unidos, Porto Rico e Ilhas Virgens. Os suplementos incluem dados que não podem ser facilmente representados em forma gráfica; por exemplo, horário de funcionamento do aeroporto, tipos de combustível disponíveis, dados de pista, códigos de iluminação, etc. Os suplementos são projetados para serem usados em conjunto com cartas e são publicados a cada 56 dias. Os suplementos também contêm o Boletim de Cartas Aeronáuticas. O objetivo do boletim é fornecer as principais alterações, nas informações aeronáuticas, ocorridas desde a última data de publicação de cada Carta Seccional VFR, Área Terminal e Rota de Helicóptero listada. Os volumes têm encadernação lateral de 5 3/8 x 8 1/4 polegadas.
