Rod Machado’s first flight lesson was in California in 1970. He was just 16 years old. That very lesson, though, inspired a lifelong mission to teach others about flying. His handbooks have helped train thousands of pilots. Machado’s titles include “Rod Machado’s Private Pilot Handbook,” “Rod Machado’s Instrument Pilot Handbook”, and “Rod Machado’s How to Fly an Airplane Handbook.
