Flight Bag PLC Pro

This is a transition bag moving out of the Brightline to the PLC Pro. My first impression is: AWESOME! This bag costs less and has more room than the Brightline. I can carry my laptop (Mac Air 11) no problemo as well as my iPad. Also a lot of room in the main compartment for whatever I want to carry. I am a professional pilot and the Brightline did not hold up to the abuse of being dragged around and shoved in an out of aircraft cockpits. The PLC Pro zippers look more robust than the former bag (which is why I am changing, the zippers failed on the Brightline), so I am hoping they can cope with professional usage. The bag is versatile enough that I can use it for my GA flying as well as at work. The shoulder straps will come in handy on my 1 day trips when I don't have a suitcase. Time will tell how well this bag stands up to professional abuse. First impressions are good.

I have been flying for over 23 years, both as a corporate pilot and part 121 pilot in the past, and as a flight instructor for the past 15 years. I have had many flight bags and this is by far the best flight bag/laptop backpack combo I have ever had. I was hesitant on the price at first, but very well made, just the right pockets in the right spots, and the size is great for small single-eng recip to underneath the seat in part 121.
