A salute to the multipurpose helicopter that was omnipresent while serving in Vietnam, this striking Bell UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) Mahogany Model is a must-have for aviation and military aficionados. More than 16,000 Hueys were produced from 1955 to 1976, and this versatile helicopter served in aerial attacks, troop and cargo transport missions, and medical evacuations. Hueys are still in service today, engaging in search and rescue, firefighting, and humanitarian missions.

This 1/36-scale model measures 15 inches from cockpit to tail rotor, and its main rotor spans 16 inches. This Bell UH-1 Iroquois (Huey) Mahogany Model is perched on a detachable wood stand and makes a great gift or addition to your collection.

Graduation gift
We bought this as a graduation gift for our son when he got his wings in the Air Force. He will be moving on to the HH 60-W so hopefully we will be able to buy that one next.
