ASA developed its Jiffyhood to provide users with a comfortable, easy-to-use view-limiting device for all their simulated instrument needs. Unlike foggles, the Jiffyhood is easy to use over eyeglasses and can be quickly & easily removed to simulate "breaking out" on an IFR approach. The light gray plastic is both lightweight and durable, and the black strap can be adjusted to accommodate a variety of head sizes. Great hood
I used this hood through my instrument training and beyond. As long as you aren't a cheater, it does an excellent job of blocking all outside reference. There were times I couldn't even tell if we were in or out of IMC. Unlike other hoods and foggles I had tried, this hood worked well with glasses.
