The Kneeboard/iPad case has been pretty good to me so far the past 7 or 8 months. It does its job well, no complaints with the magnetic clipboard or issues securing to my lap both are nice and sturdy. I’m honestly overall really happy with it. There are, however, a couple of minor complaints I have.

I have a small issue with the thinness of the plastic pieces securing the iPad, one broke not even a week into owning the thing, however I wound up just pushing it to the side anyways since it tended to block my power button and press it randomly during flight. I haven’t had any additional issues with these piece.

I also didn't like that I couldn't fold the clipboard side of the case over and use just the iPad strapped to my knee. I’ve come to find this as a non issue as I seldom don’t have a notepad for writing down clearance in flight, it is really only an issue in the sim where I have ample room regardless.

Lastly, my biggest complaint is that the edges where the case is handled are wearing far faster than I expected. The leather is starting to peel off and the edges look tattered and rough. I expect this case/kneeboard to last me potentially several more years, however the finish of it may continue to degrade so I may look to replace it sooner.

Overall it is a solid product and happy with how it’s served me, At its price point, however, it feels that it still has some kinks to be worked out and it could have a higher level of build quality.

I accidentally broke one of the four little plastic clips when inserting my iPad mini, Is there a way to get a replacement clip without having to replace the whole thing? Other than that I absolutely love it!

Strap too long 
difficult to remove and put on, just time consuming

The strap is in the way, does not wrap around when closed like other knee boards, have to remove it.

When the clipboard is place outside the magnetic dont keep the clipboard in place

I was pleased with the ordering and shipping of the kneeboard, plus, it was on sale. It arrived in excellent condition and in good time. It holds my Mini iPad very securely and I like magnetic clipboard. Open as a lap desk, I use the iPad on the left and clipboard on the right, since I'm right handed, or you can put it on the front cover and use it on just one leg. The magnets are strong and the clipboard stays secure in either place. I fly Cessna 172's and 150's and it works real well in both cockpits. The elastic strap wirh velcro, keeps it secured. It is a quality product at a quality price, even on sale, but you generally always get what you pay for and I feel I did.

I've only had the MGF Universal Folio C Knee Board for only a short time, but so far its been great with my iPad Mini. The magnetic clipboard is great for keeping my flight planning pads in order during the flight. The leather stitching and sturdiness is very high quality. Even the clips keep my iPad secure. Time will tell how long this investment holds up, but so far I am really impressed. One of the best knee boards I've ever owned.
