Too Much Static :(
I purchased to use as an air band monitor in place of a scanner, so I can only review as a receiver. Not for me unfortunately. I live just a few miles from my airport and even with the squelch set to max (15) and ANL engaged, I could not get the radio to squelch. I also tried the Rexon RHP-530 with the same results. So back to a scanner. It was worth the try. Pilot Mall is an excellent company and gave me a full refund.
