Jeppesen Private Pilot Manual
The Jeppesen private pilot textbook is a comprehensive and authoritative source of information for student pilots learning how to fly. I bought it at the urging of my flight instructor, who has integrated it into my training program. The text is clearly written and explains even complex concepts as simply as possible. The graphics, charts, and diagrams are very clearly laid out and interconnect very well with the text to clarify and expand on the material in the textbook. The book also uses color very effectively to enhance the effect of the charts and graphics. I'm sure I will be using this book well after I pass my private pilot checkride. ASA, Gleim, they're all missing this. This is what makes Jeppesen's kit the one worth buying. A complete textbook, one that introduces and explains. Every other text I've ever found is either a test prep, or a reference book. This book is an essential tool for learning how to operate an airplane. No aviation library is complete without it.
