Description
The tailBeacon from uAvionix integrates ADS-B Out and GPS into your rear-position nav light, and it's no more difficult to install than a standard light. The "Goof-Proof" configuration means that installation only requires two screws and reuses existing wiring.
TailBeacon works with any Mode C and Mode S transponder that meets the 2020 ADS-B requirements. The tailBeacon works on any suitable experimental aircraft that routinely flies below FL180. Light Sport aircraft are also eligible for installation but require a Letter of Authorization from the manufacturer. Certified aircraft require the TSO certified version of tailBeacon.
Use a mobile app to configure your tailBeacon. It doesn't get much easier. You'll be in the air in almost no time.
