Description
In the 1950s, the American military was engaged in two Cold Wars. The first was a simmering conflict to contain communism. The second was a battle to keep servicemen warm in relatively new outposts in places like South Korea and Greenland. The result was the N-3B Gen I Parka.
Tennessee-based Alpha began making the nylon N-3B in 1959 as a defense contractor. The Air Force adopted it first, but it later became standard-issue throughout the entire U.S. military. This civilian version is just as functional, with a snorkel hood, removable faux fur around the hood, faux mouton lining inside the hood, a comfy channel quilted lining, and handwarmer pockets.
Win your own battle against the cold, and look good doing it. Choose from blue, sage and black.
