Comments:
I recently purchased two sets of Lightspeed Sierras for my wife and I. I had an old pair of lightspeeds and they were seven years old. I liked them so much I stayed with Lightspeed. the bonus was the price and the shipping cost from PilotMall. Thanks PilotMall for making a great product even better!

I like the music imput and the microphone. Not only does the mic sound good but it can be switched from left to right, just like the big boys David Clark and Bose.

These can be one of the best deals you find for a high quality ANR. They sound great, look great, and are very very comfortable. Great Job Lightspeed!

Best Headset in the price Range

Comments:
I am writing two reviews here today.
1. Sierra Headset
2. PilotMall customer service.
1. Sierra headset is very light weight, good fit, it does NOT hurt my ears even after prolonged wearing. I wore it for 2 hours of cross country and my ears did not hurt, it was comfortable and clear. Even if you are wearing sunglasses it will not hurt the sides of the head (one of the advertising lines for $900 senheisser)
Light weight, the Noise Cancellation is best for its price Range, If I give a 9/10 for Zulu or Senheisser which cost around $1000. I would give 8/10 to Sierra for noise cancellation, comfort and weight. I am a small built and it fits my head perfectly.
Another test I did on this headset was wearing it without switching ON the ANR, the passive noise cancellation is also pretty good. My batteries have not died yet so I don't know how much batteries they will use practically.
This has bluetooth for phone only and you cannot use it for music. It has aux cable point to connect to your ipod or phone etc for music. The mic can only be used while in the airplane and is active when the jacks are connected.
comes with a 5 year warranty from zulu.
2. I am a tough customer and like to spend my money very carefully, these guys have great patience, I bought 3 headsets (sierra, zulu and senheisser)from them tried each of them and sent (zulu and senheisser) back the ones I did not like. The customer service department is very good. The communication for ups shipping and return etc was very easy and stress free. Since I chose ground shipping, I got my product in 4 working days.
After testing the 3 headsets (sierra, zulu and senheisser) I went with sierra for its price and comfort. I am not a big fan of listening to music via bluetooh while flying and won't mind carrying a aux cable (comes with the headset) if I need to.
PS: I read a review for sierra and zulu which said the noise cancellation will completely take off the external noise. Which is not true for sierra, zulu or senheisser, there will always be a little bit of engine sound (which is good, just in case if your engine fails or becomes rough :D ).

Great headsets, except for the mono switch that it is so inconvenient, so hard to slide. If not for this poorly designed feature, the Sierras would be perfect...
