I award one of these plaques to every one of my students who solo, and have been for years. They are my way of recognizing a milestone in their flight training, and a means of encouragement to achieve their final goal.

Every student who has completed this milestone in their training has greatly appreciated the professional look of the plaque. I don't even remember how many I have given out, but it is quite a few!

1. You need to give a little more space, especially in the airport name box, as I'm frequently apprehensive that the full name will not appear on the plaque. 2. Otherwise I have not had one student to whom I have presenteed the plaque not appreciate my effort to acknowledge their accomplishment, and commented on how professional and expensive the plaque appeared to be.
