Great little bag - has a pocket for everything. The carry handle is good and easy to grab hold of, however the shoulder strap is a little flimsy. May have some difficulty with bulkier headsets, but no problems for lightweight styles. Caution to those who use A4 sized stationary products - the bag does not have the height to accommodate these items.

The size of the bag had been changed. It now holds A4 paper and manila folders (PilotMall.com is shipping the new bag). This is by far the best bag I have seen/owned/used.

In all, an excellent bag. The only thing this bag lacks is capacity to store a large, military style knee board. The attached document half of the bag is just big enough to carry a knee board or a current copy of the FARs and FlightGuide. I like to unzip the halfs and carry the headset side with pockets for my logbook, medical, camera, fuel tester and other stuff alone for most flights.

I laid out all my items on the table next to this bag. At first I thought there was no way everything would fit. But it all did! Some of the pockets are also perfect for Sic Sacs, Travel John pouches, and other items.
Because this bag is sort of vertical in shape - not wide - it is easy to carry; it does not bang against my leg as I walk. It fits well in the car's trunk or the plane's cargo area or behind the seat. When flying solo it can be placed on the front seat with the long shoulder-handle draped over the seatback to hold it in place.
It feels sturdy. It is versatile, practical, attractive in appearance yet inexpensive.

I'm assuming 5 is best rating. Very pleased with the Brightline Pilot Flight Bag. I'm not a pilot, but I travel a lot with a computer. The section for headphones is just right for a netbook and DVD writer/reader. You're missing a good bet if you don't start marketing it to travelers! (I found it by accident.)

I received this bag as a gift in December. Since then, I've used it many times and have appreciated the clear effort that was made in the bag's design to put the items you need, right where you need them. It has so many pockets for everything you could need; if there's a single "problem" I can identify, it's that it is sometimes hard to remember what's in which pocket--I know everything is in there somewhere, but I can't remember which pocket it's in. But that's so much better than a big jumble of instrument covers, lapboard, markers, pencils, keys, fuel tester, handheld radio, batteries, chewing gum, and plotters that were all rolling around in the bottom of my previous bag. It is very well made, sturdy construction, good quality materials, and I feel that I'll get several year's use out of it. I give it five stars, and have given this as a gift to several of my pilot friends--they, without exception, have all loved it too.

Great flight bag. I originally had a large flight bag, never took it in the plane with me, always left it in the car, juggling my headset, AFD's, charts, etc. to the plane each time. The BrightLine flight bag is small enough to carry with me and hold everything I had in the large bag. Great design!!

This bag is very well thought out and keeps everything organized and easily accessible. The colored zippers are kind of dorky but they may prove to be useful. There is nothing that I am not able to keep in this bag.

I love the number and type of pockets. This bag is very configurable for the way I like to store stuff. There is a nice variety of pockets and separate storage areas so all your stuff isn't in one big pocket. The ability to remove half the bag is great too.

This bag is amazing. I bought it for my husband for Father's Day and I am amazed at everything it holds and how it is all stored within. I searched all over for a good bag and I'm very happy with this one. My husband loves his new flight bag and is amazed at it's capabilities.

I am a student pilot and needed a bag to hold everything I needed for VFR flight plus all of my training materials. This bag fits my needs perfectly. It has many large and small separate zippered compartments to hold just about anything you can think of and keep it all readily accessible. I would highly recommend this bag for its versatility! Well worth the money.
