Amazing GPS!

Comments: I've thoroughly tested the Anywhere Travel Companion (ATC). I'm extremely impressed with this full featured unit. ATC has a slim, lightweight design. The included yoke and suction cup mounts are well built and rugged. The 4.3" screen is daylight viewable and because it's high definition it's clearer than any other unit we offer. The software is extremely easy to use and rather capable. It has performed flawlessly in both my car and the plane I fly. While Anywhere Map recommends an external antenna in certain applications, I found it worked well with the internal antenna. The GPS data on the ATC screen (track, speed, altitude, etc) mirrored what my G1000 was showing me. I had just as many satellite fixes on ATC as the G1000 when tested. . If you later decide you'd like to add weather capability, an upgrade is available for around $800. There are no hidden costs: This unit comes with 1 year of updates to the database along with use of the 100LL.com web site during the same time period. I think upgrading to ATC is a no brainer. This is our most capable GPS and it's available at a reasonable introductory price.
