Comments:
Great price from Pilot Mall! It is a very nice head set. It performed very well both as a head set w/ANR and as a bluetooth link to my Iphone 4. I am going to buy a second one.

Love the bluetooth

Comments:
The overal quality, fit and finish is legendary, as if the noise handling. But the integrated bluetooth stands out as a top utility for safety, cord management and adds music conveniently.

Zulu Headsets are Great
|
|
Posted By: Ralph Portnoy

Comments:
Zulu headsets are the best. The quality of the headset and performance are tremendous. Also, Lightspeed is a great company and really stands by their products. My daughter accidentally bent/broke the tip of one of the headset jacks. Lightspeed fixed it under warranty for free. They've done this on our older headsets too. That's above and beyond in my book. I strongly recommend the product and the product support. You won't go wrong with a Zulu headset. Enjoy.

Best of the best

Comments:
I gave up my Bose after purchasing my first Zulu. The Zulu was not only significantly less expensive, it is lighter, has many more features, less clamping pressure and equal or better sound quality and exterior noise reduction. The Bluetooth and cellphone/MP3 player inputs alone make it better, and nusaic quality is exceptional. I now have two Lightspeed Zulus and a friend got a smokin' deal on a Bose.

Comments:
This headset is very comfortable. It has been very relaible since purchased about a year ago. Some of the primary setting controls are under the battery which seems a little weird but it seems to be OK.

Comparable to the Bose AV X

Comments:
I have a pair of the Bose Aviation X headsets and bought a pair of the Lightspeed Zulu. The Zulu has bluetooth which is a great interface with other devices. Not to mention the Lightspeed is cheaper than the Bose.

Lightspeed Zulu
|

Comments:
Moving up from a set of the industry standard David Clark H10-13.4 to the Lightspeed Zulu has been a very smart move. The DC's are legendary and but the LZ's really are brilliant! I was surprised just how much of a difference the ANR makes. They feel lighter and certainly have less clamping force and thus feel much more comfortable. You really could wear the LZ's all day.
I even gave them a run on my ride-on lawnmower and they worked a treat. Must have looked a bit funny to the neighbours though.
The reason I went for the LZ's over the Bose X was the Bluetooth connectivity for the phone. Just gives me an extra means of communication should I need it.
In summary, I was going to hand the DC's down to my co-pilot but now it looks like the DC's will be going to eBAy and another set of LZ's ordered from the great people at PilotMall.

Zulu!

Comments:
I recently upgraded my well worn LightSPEED 20XLc headset to the newest model, the Zulu. Flew almost five hours with them yesterday for the first time. All I can say is that they're everything I could have asked for. Extremely quiet and comfortable. The bluetooth cell fone interface worked flawlessly too. Recommend highly!

My third set

Posted By: Ray Doak

Comments:
I have a C210N and have just acquired my third LightSPEED Zulu Headset. I do a lot of flying and have just recently completed a flight from Canberra in southern Australia to Karumba and Dunk Island in northern Australia and returned which was about 28 hours of flying. These are great headsets and I felt completely comfortable during the entire length of our journey. I have convinced two of my friends who are GA pilots to purchase LightSPEED Zulu Headsets, Great piece of gear,
Ray

Comments:
I have been flying with a set of entry level headset for too long, so I bought the zulu. Amazing how much noise is reduced in the cockpit. Very comfortable. Bluetooth works great. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the plugs are not gold plated. When I looked at my cheesy headsets, the plugs were gold plated. Come on lightspeed if SoftComm can use Gold plugs, so can you!!
