BEST OF THE GENDER

Comments: Having owned three other of 'Name Brand' flight computers, the CX-2 stands head and shoullders above the crowd. Easy to use with a large easy to read display and a well compiled instruction manual. Has a cover that protects the unit and keeps it from accidentally being turned on.

Comments: Unit performs as advertised. I cannot award five stars due to poor documentation. I finally called tech support when I was unable to perform compass heading computation. The support person was able to tell the right button to push then it worked properly. The support person also told me of an similar, albeit undocumented, idiosyncrasy in the landing crosswind computation. Without the assistance of the support person, I was ready to send the unit back thinking it was not working properly.

Solid Flight Computer

Comments: Pros - Works great. Does what it says it will do. Intuitive for someone used to working with advanced calculators. I would recommend it to other pilots. Cons - I think it should have a back light. Lots of negative reviews about this flight computer but I have no major complaints.

Comments: I recentley purchased this for my ground school lessons and it is fantastic! It's very easy to use and has a lot of calculations. I had another electronic E6B before, but it wasn't as nice as this one. I also love the fact that I can use it on my FAA exams!
