I have used the CH yoke (along with the CH rudder pedals) with MS Flight Simulator 9 (2004). This makes a great set-up for practicing navigation, including approches. The yoke adds much compared with just using a typical joy-stick (unless of course you're flying a Cub!). I have noticed that the yoke has gotten a bit "sticky" over the years. The pitch (push-pull) does not always return to "center", which can be a little annoying when you're all trimmed up.

I bought both the Yoke and Rudder pedals for use with MSFS-X and XPlane. I am happy with the Rudder pedals but was disappointed with the yoke. The yoke never seems to return to center and the movements just don't seem smooth. I also had problems mounting the yoke to my computer desk, although that wasn't a problem with the yoke. I ended up getting a really nice joystick and that is now my primary control...which is just fine since most of the planes I'm flying have a stick and not a yoke anyway.

I have used CH yokes pretty extensively. The first one I had, which was a serial port version, was good overall. The second version (a USB with throttle/propeller/mixture levers), was lacking in quality. There was a pronounced "slop," or dead space in the aileron axis of the yoke. I switched to Saitek - much better.

I have had these controls for several years now. Overall it is a good quality unit. The downside is the construction. The plastic nuts and clamps that connect it to the table are not very strong. And the shaft for the yoke leaves a bit to be desired after years of twisting and loosening the spring that bounce it back to level.
