This study manual for the new FCC Commercial Radio Operator / Maintainer license is now available and includes the FCC regulatory library CD. This combination textbook and study guide includes all three required sections; Element 1 (regulations - MROP Operator's Permit), Element 3 (General Radiotelephone Operator License - basic electronics), and Element 8 (RADAR endorsement).

The format of the new examination question pool is completely revised from the old pools. Individual questions are contained in Key Topics. Each Key Topic contains six questions, one of which will be on the applicant's written examination. The Element 1 pool contains a total of 144 questions in 24 Key Topics, with 24 questions on the FCC exam. The Element 3 pool contains 600 questions in 100 Key Topics, and the Element 8 pool contains 300 questions in 50 Key Topics.

This new GROL + RADAR is 320 pages in a full size 8.5 x 11" format. It is fully illustrated and contains the exact questions and answer choices from the official FCC question pools. Author Gordon West provides an explanation for each question telling students which answer is correct and discussing why it is correct.
