Telex Stratus 50 Digital ANR
A couple of weeks ago I tested the headset in a 182 Skylane w/the G1000, and yesterday in a 1978 172 Skyhawk. IC between crewmembers is very good.
Sound quality is excellent. I haven't fiddled enough with the audio panel options to give a full spread of impressions.
The overall fit, mic boom length, adjustability, etc is outstanding.
I've worn them for a total of 3 hrs in total comfort.
Squawks:
1. The battery compartment door is freighteningly flimsy.
2. The cord is too long. This is partly mitigated by the battery pack clip to hold it to your shoulder harness.
The Stratus 50 would be world class if they made a coiled cord an option.

Nice headset, very quiet
It's not quite as flashy as some of it's competition, but for the price it's top notch! I work as a CFI and fly every day, and I was sick and tired of the Daivd Clark headaches I used to get every night. Well, the headaches are gone! This headset is very much worth looking at if your in the market for an upgrade.
