Works Good, But.......
I give this a fairly low rating due to the operating costs. The unit works well, and has a lot of nice features, like the ability for friends and family to track your progress real time. The main drawback is that this unit does not use the international rescue satalite systems. It uses a private network that requires a $100 / year subscription. So while the initial price of the unit is attractive, the operating costs are not. If you don't pay for the service, they will not transmit your distress signal to the appropriate authorities.
