The battery eliminator was designed to replace the batteries on the Sennheiser HME/HMEC25 and HME/HMEC26 headset. Installation is a very simple process: 1. Remove the batteries from the headset battery box. 2. Drill a hole large enough in the back of the battery compartment to allow the cable and the male power plug (not supplied) to be inserted through the back of the battery box. NOTE: the aircraft power (12 Volt) must be provided with a connection on the instrument panel of the aircraft for the power plug to be inserted into. The cover on the headset battery box is replaced and the power plug then can be used to operate the ANR of the headset. If the operator needs to use the headset in another aircraft that is not panel wired he just removes the converter and re-installs the batteries. This is for use in 12 Volt aircraft only.
