Saitek Yoke
Due to limited discretionary income and limited time available to keep up with real-world flying activities, I purchased the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke & Throttle Quadrant System to use with FSX. The yoke, with its multiple integrated switches, has proven to be worth every bit of the cost. It has a solid construction and all functions are programmable to meet user preferences. The only issue I experienced is the yoke sticking a bit during aggressive use with my left hand (while keeping my right hand on the throttle). I solved this by simply putting a bit of petroleum jelly on the yoke shaft. One function that I absolutely love is the hat switch to change views frequently because it allows me to keep my hand on the controls while scanning the sky for traffic or looking for ground references for VFR flight. I like it so far!! If you are deciding to go down this route when using some kind of flight simulator then it is the best way to start off.. As far as the product itself well its really good. easy to program, only problem is on the throttle I can't get reverse thrust to work properly but I think I am doing something incorrect.. idk The only downfall is the USB connection is very small only like a 5 foot cord to the PC which sucks...
