The RAM camera mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both still and moving cameras.
The RAM-B-202AU camera base contains a 1" rubber ball that is connected to a 2.5" diameter round base. Also, included is a 1/4"-20 threaded steel stud, centered, the round base provides support and stability for cameras that rest on top of it. The male 1/4"-20 threaded steel stud will connect to any standard female thread found on camcorders and digital cameras.
The RAM-B-201U-A, short double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates 1" ball bases. A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets, allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection. This socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
The RAM-B-108BU, powder coated marine grade aluminum strap base, accommodates rails from 1.0" to a maximum of 2.1" in diameter. To mount the RAM-B-108BU base, place the saddle shaped plate on the rail then wrap the metal clamp strap around the rail and plate. Tighten the screw knob on the metal strap with a screw driver until the strap has a firm hold on the rail.
