Sam Lyon's love of aviation since childhood led him down the road to his present career as a world-renowned aviation artist. His paintings can be found at military bases, museums, aviation gift shops, and in pilots' art collections throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Through his membership in the Air Force Art Program, Sam's painting "Lead Solo" graces the Air Force Art Hall in the Pentagon.

"Pony Express with Wings" features a Jenny JN-1 loaded for its first regularly scheduled mail flight from Washington DC to New York City in 1918. This print is produced on acid-free, neutral-pH paper with permanent inks and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The 10" x 17.5" prints are available in Limited Edition sizes of 300 Signed & Numbered and 30 Artist Proofs.
