Engineered with an unwavering focus on comfort, protection and performance enhancement, these lightweight shoes provide a previously unavailable performance footwear alternative for pilots of equally high-performance aircraft.

Developed as a successor to Nomex, the CarbonX fibers used in the design protect 3-5 times better than other leading competitors and outperform all known standards on the NFPA 2112 Flame Resistant Garments testing protocol, while still wicking away moisture to control perspiration. CarbonX is used throughout the unique design to enhance comfort and protection without adding bulk and weight.

The soft split suede upper is self-extinguishing, with the added protection of CarbonX lining and batting and Nomex laces. At the back, an ergonomic cutout in the design enhances comfort on long flights. The synthetic leather mudguard is embroidered with a distinctive, but subtle, Oakley logo.

Optimized for tactile pedal response and heat-deflection, the durable Oakley Pilot Boot builds on a high-grip NBS vulcanized rubber outsole and adds a low-density polymer in the insole for heel support and out-of-cockpit comfort. The precision sized and shaped footbed is fully wrapped with fire retardant CarbonX.
