Sam Lyon's love of aviation since childhood led him down the road to his present career as a world-renowned aviation artist. His paintings can be found at military bases, museums, aviation gift shops, and in pilots' art collections throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. Through his membership in the Air Force Art Program, Sam's painting "Lead Solo" graces the Air Force Art Hall in the Pentagon.

Sam paired up a 1946 J-3 Piper Cub with a John Deere tractor from the same time period. The original was commissioned by two brothers from Virginia, Anthony and William White, who were doing a complete restoration on a '46 Cub. This print has incredible details. This print is produced on acid-free, neutral-pH paper with permanent inks and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
