The DVM 828 is a self-contained digital voltage monitor that keeps a close eye on the overall health of the aircraft's battery and charging system. Installation is made simple by using the aircraft's existing cigarette lighter connector found in most airplanes. By way of highly accurate voltage regulators, the DVM 828 receives its power from the aircraft, no addition batteries are need. Operating the on board microcontroller and drivers with voltage levels at or below 5 volts allows the unit to measure the battery and charging system with accuracy to the nearest tenth of a volt. The DVM 828 uses three discrete Blue 7 Segment displays with a height of .375" for easy viewing. The DM 828 automatically shifts between 12 volt and 24 volts systems.
