Description
The C-9A is a twin-engine, single-aisle jet airliner; was designed for frequent, short flights. The C-9A Nightingale is a DC-9 that was modified for the US Air Force. The USAF selected the C-9A to meet their requirement for a MedEvac and passenger transport aircraft. The DC-9 was always intended to be available in multiple versions to suit customer requirements.
