    Hardware & Software Requirements:

Civil Aviation Clip Art will work with any software application that allows you to import, place or open Encapsulated Postscript (*.EPS) files. For maximum editing capability, it is recommended to use Adobe Illustrator, MacroMedia Freehand, CorelDraw! or any other illustration application. Some presentation applications, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, will allow the user some editing capability as well. All popular software applications for presentations, publications or word processing will allow the user to place and resize an EPS file anywhere within the document.

    System Requirements:

    Windows:
  • An IBM PC or compatible computer.
  • Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher.
  • CD ROM player.
  • At least 4 MB RAM.

    Macintosh:
  • Macintosh with 68020 processor or better.
  • Apple System 6.05 or higher.
  • CD-ROM player.

    About EPS Files:

An Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) file is an "object oriented" file, meaning that it stores a graphic file as a set of mathematical descriptions of paths and fills for redrawing the image, rather than save individual pixels like a bitmap does. Object oriented files are independent of the limitations of resolution - the quality of the printed document will always be the highest quality available from the printer.

These illustrations can be resized infinitely without loss of resolution or detail, and they are fully editable. PostScript will always print at the maximum resolution available from your printer. These Windows files contain a Windows Metafile (*.WMF) encapsulation, which will print from any laser printer.

The artwork is designed so that the end user can use it 'as is' or benefit from the editing features of the illustrations (intelligent grouping, Pantone color matching, pie chart graphics, color trapping, etc.). Even the novice user can create stunning presentations by utilizing these features as described in the manuals which accompany the artwork.
