Faulty Execution
Three major issues: 1) Support bracket that sits on leg is smooth plastic and easily slides front to back and side to side. Foam window weather stripping solved that problem somewhat. 2) Attachment bands are not elastic. When mount moves forward on thigh, whole assembly loosens, flops & wobbles. Very distracting on approaches 3) Center of gravity is too high. Mount wants to fall over on left or right side of leg. Again, very distracting. 4) At proper pilot seat height, the yoke on both the Saratoga and Skylane I fly strike the front left corner of the iPad, making it necessary to shift the right knee outward, which is not so cool for coordinated rudder control. In all, I like the idea a lot but cannot recommend this expensive device to anyone. J Fink - New York, NY  Flimsy....not worth it AT ALL!
Poorly constructed of cheap plastic. There were NO instructions as to the operation of the very complicated "tilt" function. Even the velcro attached to the face of the board (ostensibly for pens etc...) was the cheap kind, not the thicker sturdier kind. Very disappointing product from an otherwise respected name.
