It's no secret that the iPad has become a huge hit within the aviation community. ASA's new iPad Kneeboard is the ideal accessory to complement what has become many pilots' favorite cockpit companion.

This professional portfolio-style kneeboard offers protection and function in the air and on the ground. The elastic strap secures the binderlike case to a pilot's leg for in-flight use and is easily removable for everyday use. The inside sleeve holds the iPad securely on the right side with full access to iPad controls and buttons. The left side has pockets to store documents and provides a writing surface. The cover folds into a flap to serve as a vertical or horizontal desktop stand, providing easy landscape viewing and full keyboard access. Beautiful black leatherette with embossed wings; fits both iPad and iPad 2.

More than a kneepad

Very good article for the I Pad 2. It gives good support, protection, and full access to the screen. Very good and professional presentation of the product and the IPad2 as well. Eventhough, it looks to be desing for better fit the first IPad than the I Pad 2, due to the difference in thikness, it fits a little loose on the IPad 2, and does not have an open space for the camera on the back.
