The First Pocket Plotter with T/S/D Computer!
APR has designed the first combination T/S/D pocket computer combined with a protractor, plotter and rotatable cursor. The protractor/plotter side is made with high-visibility colors and is user-friendly. To use this portion of the computer, align the airplane cursor with the true or magnetic course. Then align the arrow cursor along any appropriate meridian.
The T/S/D side of the computer shows fuel consumption solutions, density altitude factors, conversions for true airspeed & altitude, Mach number, kilometers, minutes to seconds, statute to nautical to statute miles, off-course drift corrections, and slide-rule mathematics.
Reciprocals of bearings shown on the PROTRACTOR are indicated directly below the bearing.Sixteen cardinal and sub-cardinal points of the compass are shown on the PROTRACTOR; for example, N, NNE, NE, ENE, E, etc.TEMPERATURE CORRECTION C° This scale shows the correction to be applied to the Outside Air Temperature indication (OAT) due to the heating of the temperature probe as it passes through the air stream. For instance, at a speed of 200 kts True Airspeed a correction of –4°C must be applied to the indicated OAT to obtain the correct OAT called True Air Temperature (TAT).
APR's combo Protractor/Plotter and T/S/D computer is manufactured in the USA and includes a comprehensive, illustrated instruction manual with practice problems and solutions.
