Tell a Friend
Through the use of a unique circuit, quiet communications can be enjoyed without the missed syllables, audio popping and background noise associated with voice activated intercoms.

Unlike so-called automatic vox intercoms, the ENRI circuit is non voice operated. The microphones are active at all times monitoring the background noise level and cancels ambient noise, even while talking.

The ITC-401-ENRI Features
  • Enhanced Noise Reduction Technology
  • Single Volume Control
  • No Squelch Circuits
  • 9 Volt Battery Operation
  • Pilot/All Switch
  • Small Size, 4"L x 2.5"W x 1.5"D
  • Available with standard Mic and Headphone Plugs
  • Three Year Warranty

    What is Enhanced Noise Reduction?
With a voice operated intercom, wind and engine noise is heard when the headsets microphone audio path is open. Depending on the intercom and headset mic, the background sounds can be quite annoying. With voice operated intercoms, you have to kick start the audio path by speaking and then after stopping, the microphone is open allowing back ground noise to be heard until the audio path closes. This is the case with either manual or auto-squelch systems.

ENRI eliminates what the open microphone hears and you the pilot don't what to hear, that rushing wind sound and engine noise. Since the microphones are open all the time with ENRI , there are no missed words or audio dropping between words, and no background noise, even while you are talking.
